The Parrett family story, rooted in care
Humbled Hearts Child Development Center is a family-owned center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, serving children from infancy through school age. The Parrett family began with an in-home childcare program in 2014 and grew that same heart for children into a trusted facility at 6003 N. Teutonia Ave.
Our mission is simple: nurture each child’s unique potential through personalized care, an engaging curriculum, and a supportive environment for academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.
We are more than childcare. We partner with families to build confidence, strengthen developmental milestones, and create a foundation for lifelong learning.

Philosophy
It is our belief that children are sponges and soak up what you teach and instill in them. It is important that on a daily basis we show and teach them tools they will need to reach the next developmental stages of their lives. These include nurturing, emotional, social stimulation, and physical development. By providing these foundational experiences, we help set them up for a lifetime of growth and success.

Alicia Parrett
Founder & Family Director
Alicia Parrett carries forward the family’s original in-home childcare vision with a deep commitment to care, consistency, and community. She leads Humbled Hearts with a focus on relationships, communication, and helping each child flourish.
Brianna James
Curriculum & Family Engagement Lead
Brianna designs engaging activities that strengthen confidence, language, problem-solving, and early academic readiness while keeping each child’s interests and learning style in mind.
Marcus Reed
Special-Needs Support Coordinator
Marcus helps create individualized support for children who need extra attention, structure, or developmental resources. His approach centers patience, dignity, and progress at each child’s pace.
